2014 年度微束分析培訓及研討會 （1號通知）
State-of-the-arts microanalysis and microscopy instruments become available routinely in China’s universities, institutes, government agencies, and industries’ R & D departments. Scientific research depends on the understanding of theoretical background of instruments, proper operation of machines, and correct interpretation of acquired data. Therefore, there is a necessity to promote correct and full use of electron microbeam instruments. Nanjing Microbeam Analysis School (NMAS), a microanalysis and microscopy training program, is established to fulfill this goal. Nanjing University, China, has all necessary conditions, such as instruments, expertise and administrative support (School of Earth Sciences and Engineering), to start such a training program or school. A few international experts in SEM and EPMA fields have expressed interests to support the program through giving a talk or presentation on microanalysis and microscopy. The mission of the school shall be to meet analytical and imaging needs in microanalysis and microscopy, to share information and techniques, to learn about cutting-edge technology, to expand professional network, and to grow career opportunities.
